Salary Range:
$51,238.00 - $66,609.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
- Responsible for financial analysis, forecasting and reporting; interpretation of reports and financial recommendations
- Prepare financial needs analysis for major capital equipment purchases.
- Identify unit financial strategies and challenges.
- Oversee risk management and legal activities such as letters of agreement, contracts, leases, procurement, etc.
- Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting on the financial accounts.
- Ensure all activities operate consistently and ethically.
- Oversee reporting and monitoring of financial performance metrics.
- Maintain and monitor operational budgets.
- Review accounts for accuracy and coding and reconcile to budget allocations.
- Make appropriate journal entries.
- Oversee purchase of computers, equipment, furniture, and supplies. Make bank deposits and use procurement card for eligible purchases.
- Liaise with outside agencies and companies regarding billings. Requests external invoices.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of annual operating budgets.
- Prepare proposals including one-time priority funding, non-space, & A&R funding.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- University degree - Business Administration with emphasis on finance and/or accounting.
- 5 years' experience in a financial leadership role including managing, leading, and mentoring staff.
