The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of Academic Administration Officer with the Office of Vice President Academic. This is a continuing, full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with the APT employee group. The position is funded by the University Budget with a salary range of $52,104 - $67,734 per annum.

This position is the University's Academic Administration Officer reporting to the Vice-President Academic and liaising with the President's Executive Team, Deans, Directors, Chairs, People & Culture, Resource Planning and Budgeting, and Financial Services on matters relating to academic administration (faculty members, teaching professors, librarians, archivists, research associates, visiting scholars, adjunct professors, administrative assistants).

This position is accountable for standardization of procedures and adherence to collective agreements and University policies in the recruiting, hiring and ongoing employment of academic employees and senior administrators.

The roles, responsibilities and reporting structure will evolve as the university implements a provost as the senior academic lead over the next year.
