The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of Special Projects Coordinator with the Office of Experiential Learning. This is a full-time, term position ending September 1, 2023, with a salary range of $43,250 - $54,062 per annum.
Reporting to the Director, Office of Experiential Learning, the Special Projects Coordinator will be a key role in supporting this growth. This position will support the dynamic Office of Experiential team on several projects, providing administrative, research, and project management support.
Position summary:
- Support the Director, Office of Experiential Education with office-wide project coordination.
- Collaborate to develop and adhere to timelines, plan budgets, meet deliverables, reach milestones, and generate reports.
- Coordinate complex, multi-step projects with many dependencies, such as multiple resources, budgetary limits, and adherence to funder guidelines.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate metrics of project success using various survey tools and other methods of collecting data.
- Develop visual representations of data and generate reports to communicate key findings.
- Gather and collate reporting, track outcomes, and participate in experiential learning at UNB.
- Assist in the development of new projects with faculty members and external partners.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including community organizations, businesses, provincial and federal funding partners, and UNB internal departments and units regularly.
- Participate in the development and execution of the office's project development and implementation strategy
Requirements/Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 1-5 years of experience in project coordination and reporting.
- Experience in community outreach, relationship building, and/or experiential education projects is an asset.
- Proficient with project coordination tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that include excellent writing, editing, proofreading and attention to detail are required.
- Accuracy, good judgment, and ability to exercise initiative are critical.
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, able to prioritize and able to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collaborative and virtual team environment.
- Proven record of achieving project goals on time and produce deliverables of a high quality.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment with new challenges daily.
