The University of New Brunswick Saint John welcomes applications for the position of Integrated Marketing Coordinator with the Marketing Office. This is a continuing full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with the APT employee group. The position is funded by the University Budget with a salary range of $40,386 - $50,482 per annum.
Reporting to the Integrated Marketing Manager, the Integrated Marketing Coordinator position is an integral support to the Integrated Marketing Team and is responsible for contributing to the initiatives led by this team. The Integrated Marketing Team focuses on delivering marketing support to faculties and units across the institution.
Position summary:
- Oversee the management and delivery of one-off collateral and marketing requests, including: posters, brochures, forms, letterhead, etc.
- Ensure that client needs and objectives are being met and the proper processes are followed.
- Support in the planning and delivery of strategic marketing plans, including the development and execution of tactics, follow-ups, measurement and post-campaign reporting.
- Support the Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing managers in the collection and curation of social media and web content in support of strategic initiatives, including crafting social media posts and recommending digital tactics to support strategic marketing plans.
- Liaise with suppliers to support delivery of tactics.
- Maintain and update internal project management tool for ease of reporting and project tracking.
- Attend institutional events as needed to provide support.
Requirements/Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in business administration or a relevant combination of education and work experience.
- 1-3 years' experience in the field of marketing or related field.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively on cross-function and virtual teams.
- Organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently.
- Highly digitally literate, with experience and understanding of social media platforms including social media, digital campaigns and automated marketing solutions.
- Familiarity with a variety of marketing mediums, including print, digital, etc. and ability to select and make recommendations to suit individual needs.
- Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to advocate for ideas and thrive within a group setting.
