The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of PD Operations Analyst with the College of Extended Learning. This is a 3-year term, full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with the PTSU employee group. The position is funded by the University Budget with a salary range of $46,701 - $60,700 per annum.
The UNB College of Extended Learning is the primary lifelong learning outreach for the University and carries critical community building and revenue-generation functions. This position is situated within the Business Development & Sales unit, an entrepreneurial environment with an ambitious growth plan clearly set by aggressive financial targets. This position plays a critical role in the stewardship of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database; the creation and execution of targeted marketing strategies and campaigns; and manages the contract training portfolio.
Position Summary:
- Provide orientation, training, and ongoing support to unit staff.
- Work with unit users to identify and define targets to create campaigns to attract, retain, reengage, and recruit.
- Keep course content up-to-date within the CRM platform.
- Collaborate with unit users to troubleshoot issues or data corruption and escalate as needed.
- Coordinate the overall maintenance of CRM User Logins within approved security protocols.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness/ efficiency of current solution and implementation approach.
- Provide current analytics as needed. Recommend process improvements.
- Work in conjunction with CEL's Marketing & Communications unit to develop and implement targeted marketing strategies.
- Contribute to marketing and social media endeavors. Create and manage yearly program/seminar schedules.
- Manage administrative and logistical components.
- Coordinate the delivery of customized training programs, evaluate/review curriculum and make necessary changes with assistance from SME.
- Respond to client complaints, discern problems and issues, refer to relevant individual, ensure follow-up.
- Monitor inquiries, problems and issues with an eye to patterns, report observations and propose solutions where applicable.
- Accountable for organizing and managing the affairs of the Associate Executive Director's office.
- Contribute to the oversight and management of unit budget, coordination of travel and trade show activities, completion of travel expense claims, procurement submissions and payables.
- Attend trade show and conferences, as required. Some travel may be required.
Requirements/Skills:
- University degree in business or other related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Min. 5 years of experience in program development/administration, project management, and business development.
- Contract Training Certification an asset.
- Experience in proposal/report writing and development of contracts and partnership agreements.
- Experience in marketing tactics, execution, measurement, and research.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and independently. Goal and detail oriented.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft, databases and customer relation management products is crucial.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics platforms is an asset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in client relations. Self-motivated and quick learner.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A good understanding of budgets and the ability to implement, monitor and identify variances.
