Applications are invited for two, 1-year term Assistant Teaching Professor positions, with the potential for 1-year renewals, in the Department of Nursing & Health Sciences. These positions primarily involve clinical practice and laboratory teaching responsibilities, with possible classroom teaching, in the undergraduate program. All candidates must have a Bachelor of Nursing degree. A graduate degree in nursing, either completed or in progress, will be considered an asset. We are looking for enthusiastic instructors passionate about clinical education with a proven track record in teaching and a clinical focus in a variety of practice areas, that may include long-term care, acute care (med/surg, maternal/child, peds) and/or community health. Candidates for these positions must be eligible for registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick and hold registration prior to appointment. Registration must be maintained throughout employment. These positions are anticipated to commence on July 1, 2024, and are subject to final budgetary approval.

The Department of Nursing and Health Sciences is part of a fully nationally accredited and approved provincial nursing program offering Bachelor of Nursing (BN) and Bachelor of Health Sciences degrees. We have four entry options into the BN program: our three- and four-year BN delivery models and our LPN Bridging and Step up to Nursing (work-study) models.
