Applications are invited for a 2-year term assistant teaching professor position with the potential for a 2-year renewal in the Department of Nursing & Health Sciences. This position involves classroom, practice, and laboratory teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate program. All candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree and a Master of Nursing degree. Consideration will also be given to candidates with a Master of Nursing degree near completion or candidates without a Master of Nursing degree but with an equivalent level of professional/practical experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant teaching professor passionate about clinical education with a proven track record in teaching and a clinical focus in a variety of practice areas with preference for those specializing in continuing care and hospital-based nursing practice. Candidates with other areas of expertise will also be considered. Candidates for this position must be eligible for registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick and hold registration prior to appointment. Registration must be maintained throughout employment. This position is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2023 and is subject to final budgetary approval.
