The Faculty of Education invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank, starting July 1, 2023.

Applicants should hold a doctorate in the relevant field. The disciplinary background of the candidate may include:

The successful candidate will be able to teach courses about technology integration in both undergraduate and graduate programs and will be able to teach instructional design courses at the graduate level. Therefore, experience teaching at the K-12, undergraduate and graduate level is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in arts methodologies.

The appointment, effective July 1, 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter, will be at the Assistant Professor level.

The University of New Brunswick is one of the oldest public universities in Canada. It offers degrees in more than 60 disciplines encompassing a range of academic and professional programs. The Faculty of Education offers a variety of graduate and undergraduate programs in teacher education and adult education that are delivered face to face and online. The Faculty is active in international programs and has been highly successful in obtaining research grants and contracts.

Fredericton, New Brunswick, is located by the Wolastoq (the beautiful and bountiful river), has many kilometers of walking trails and a very active arts community. Fredericton provides the opportunity for a balanced, environmentally friendly lifestyle.
