The Department of Engineering at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John invites applications for an 8-month term Assistant Teaching Professor position beginning August 29, 2022. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Responsibilities include the preparation, supervision, and delivery, fully or partially, either in classrooms or any alternate delivery method of the following courses: Mechanics Lab, Structural Analysis Lab, First-year Design Lab, Surveying Lab, Soil Mechanics Lab and Numerical Analysis for Civil Engineering Lab. UNB Saint John has a strong commitment to teaching and the successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching engineering courses. All candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a master's degree in Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained a P. Eng. or who are eligible to do so. Consideration will also be given to candidates with a master's degree near completion or candidates without a master's degree in Engineering but with an equivalent level of professional experience.
