The Department of History and Politics, University of New Brunswick Saint John, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in History, with a focus in the History of Medicine. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2022 and is subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in History, a research agenda with an appropriate level of publication, and teaching experience. Applications from all specializations within the History of Medicine will be considered. The successful candidate will offer courses on the Americas or Europe outside of the history of medicine. Teaching will support students in not only History and other disciplines, but also in the Bachelor of Health program. The priority will be teaching undergraduate courses, and UNB also provides opportunities for participation in graduate studies - both on the Saint John and Fredericton campuses.
