Renaissance College at the University of New Brunswick invites applications for two continuing tenure-track positions in Leadership Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor. One of the appointments will commence on July 1, 2022, and the other on January 1, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter subject to final budgetary approval. Review of applications will begin on November 1st and will continue until the positions are filled.
RC welcomes qualified applicants with a wide range of interests and expertise in leadership. We particularly encourage those with scholarly and teaching interests in the following areas: inclusive and intercultural leadership; indigenous governance and leadership; world views/philosophy and leadership; social justice and social movement leadership; social innovation and sustainable community development; non-profit sector leadership; theory of leadership and followership; ethics of leadership; areas related to future studies and foresight; and technology and leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Leadership studies (preferred) or a closely related field, by the start date of the appointment. Ability to teach across disciplines, and a program of quality research or demonstrated potential for the development of such a program, are required. All positions are subject to final budgetary approval.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in scholarly research and teaching and be well equipped to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. They will teach a variety of courses using various delivery modes (including in-person and online) at the undergraduate level and participate in the design and launch of a Master of Leadership Studies program, including graduate teaching and supervision. They will be committed to innovative interdisciplinary and experiential pedagogy, and to advancing the mission of the college to provide leadership for socially responsible programs and policies that contribute to the common good.

Renaissance College is the University of New Brunswick's creative response to the need to educate leaders for the new millennium. Canada's premiere undergraduate interdisciplinary leadership studies program features a close-knit, integrative, and experiential learning community in which faculty and staff contribute to teaching and modeling leadership and citizenship excellence.
