Founded in 1785, UNB is one of the oldest public universities in North America. The Faculty of Nursing has a satellite campus in Moncton and a collaborative partnership for delivery of the BN Program with Humber College in Toronto.

All UNB sites share a common curriculum based on principles of primary health care, caring and social justice. Foundational to the curriculum are five abilities that are considered essential to working successfully in a primary health care environment. Outcomes for theory and clinical courses are intentionally designed and leveled across the program to ensure that graduates have developed the five requisite abilities. The Bachelor of Nursing degree has a 4-year undergraduate program and a 2-year advanced standing program. The integrated nature of our curriculum means that we can consider a variety of areas of clinical and teaching expertise for this position. Research and active participation in governance and decision-making within the Faculty are also expectations.
