FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: ACCOUNTING (TENURE TRACK)
The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of Accounting. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence as of January 1, 2020 or as soon thereafter as possible. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Applicants must have a PhD or DBA in Accounting. Applicants who are ABD at the time of application will be considered but must demonstrate that their completion date will precede the start date for the appointment. Preference will be given to candidates holding a professional designation from a recognized accounting body and those with an expertise in Data Analytics at the undergraduate and graduate level.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated record of excellence in university teaching and research or evidence of the potential to develop such a record. Teaching assignments will be at the undergraduate and graduate level and will cover all areas of the accounting curriculum.
The FBA is innovative in its programs, curriculum design and outreach activities. It has more than 840 students in the undergraduate program and 100 students in the graduate program. In addition to the domestic programs, the FBA also offers its programs in partnership with an institution in Trinidad and Tobago.
