Reporting to the Associate University Secretary, the incumbent is responsible for the production, editing and distribution of the UNB Undergraduate Calendar (On-line/Hardcopy); providing support for associated curriculum process; maintaining the overall editing, printing, ordering and delivery. The Special Projects Coordinator portion of this position is responsible for project development and management as assigned by the University Secretary.
Representative Responsibilities
·    Edit and produce the Undergraduate Calendar, in both electronic and print format. Communication with faculties, colleges, departments, service and administrative departments on both campuses, to ensure calendar content is finalized, verified and proofed.
·    Identify and coordinate all Special Projects within the University Secretariat.
·    Continue development of a Motions Database as a working Management tool.
·    Develop a plan, including documented procedures, guidelines, best practices and a prioritized list of features and functionalities with regards to the University Board Policy Manual. Develop and maintain a schedule of initiatives with regard to Board Policies.
·    Provide additional support with any ongoing RTIPPA/Records Management Requests as needed.
·    Assist in the development and maintenance of the Undergraduate Calendar Management System on the Content Management System.
·    Training and annual update of work-flows, process and permissions within the Content Management System for the Undergraduate Calendar database.
·    Post-secondary education in an administrative field. Undergraduate degree preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience in an academic environment. Certificate in Project Management or equivalent would be an asset.
·    2 – 3 years of administrative experience in a university or institutional environment, and a demonstrated understanding of academic and administrative planning and decision making processes would be an asset.  
·    Competence in a variety of computer hardware, software, and online tools, e.g. Microsoft Office, Word, Adobe Acrobat, e-mail, and online web page editors.
·    Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
·    A high level of attention to detail and a flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks in an active administrative unit.
·    Interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of administration, faculty, staff, students, and the general public in an effective and courteous manner.
·    Demonstrated initiative, decision-making and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently.
