Due to high demand, Essex is not able to guarantee housing on-campus for incoming students. Incoming students may be encourage to find their own accommodation.

Essex offers single study bedrooms with shared kitchen facilities and either shared or en-suites bathrooms. If students are studying at Colchester they should select accommodation at our Colchester campus, students wishing to study at Southend can apply for accommodation at that location.

Accommodation remains open during the Christmas and Easter holidays. All students are required to vacate their rooms at the end of the Summer term.

Accommodation is arranged via Essex Abroad and students will be notified in August/September for October entry and in December for January entry. Accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Students are not able to use the online Accommodation Application.
