Summer boat rentals for URec members

URec has partnered with Second Nature Outdoors to provide members with access to the popular summer boat rental program. Get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful Saint John River!

• URec members receive a 50% discount off all rentals.

• Rentals are available Wednesday to Saturday (June 5 until seasonal closure in September) from 12 noon until 8 p.m.*

• Online reservations are required and need to be made in advance of rental time. Please select "UREC MEMBER" as customer type during reservation. Rental availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Rentals are available at all Second Nature Outdoors locations; both the Fredericton Small Craft Aquatic Centre (63 Brunswick St.) & the Oromocto Small Craft Centre (992 Onondaga St.) are included. 

• Choose from any inventory available (kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board, bikes, etc.).*

Members must present their URec ID card (or UNB UCard) at the time of rental in order to receive the discount or will be required to pay the full price.

*All rentals times are subject to weather. Rock wall is excluded from availabilty. All rentals are subject to the policies of Second Nature Outdoors.

Practice your swing on the range

From Jan. 10 - April 15, practice your swing on the range inside the BMO Centre Dome.

• Drop in (60 minutes): $25
• 12 Sessions: $200
• 15 Session (one month): $225
• 42 Sessions (three months): $500

Registration for Faculty/Staff Summer Softball is now open! Registration costs $100 per team.

Leagues will look to starting June 14. Games will take place Tuesdays to Fridays from 12 - 1 p.m. at the Queens Square ball fields.
