Each year, close to 3,000 participants engage in intramural sports. The program aims to serve all individuals and teams who wish to participate.
URec’s intramural program is open to all full-time UNB students. Part-time students must opt in to the facility access fee. This fee can be paid at the financial services office.
All community members (public, alumni and members of other academic institutions) must be a current URec member or purchase a URec intramural pass to participate.
Teams can participate in the intramural program at no charge. (Exception: ice hockey) However, teams are required to deposit two $75 undated cheques at the time of registration. Deposits will be returned* to the team manager at the end of the season.
*Teams who violate the rules outlined in the intramural rule book may not have their deposit returned. Please refer to the intramural rule book for more information.
An intramural pass entitles non-members to have access to URec’s intramural sports. This is a great way to stay active and have fun with friends while either learning a new sport or continuing with a sport you love!
Visit us at the Membership Services Desk on the first floor of the CURRIE CENTER to get signed up!
