Peter C. Kent Travel Study Award

Through the generosity of the late Bill Lewis, the University of New Brunswick has established the Kent Travel Award for Study in Rome. This award is valued at $4,250.00, which will cover the full program fee to enable an excellent student of limited financial means to participle in the UNB Travel Study Session in Rome between May 15th and June 4th, 2017. The recipient of the award will only have to pay airfare to Rome and bring some spending money.

Dr. Florence T. Snodgrass Bursary for New Brunswick Students

The Florence T. Snodgrass Bursary for New Brunswick Students is a needs-based undergraduate bursary valued up to $2,000.00. Available to full-time students on the Fredericton campus of UNB with demonstrated financial need and academic achievement  of 2.0 or higher. Eligible candidates must be NB residents according to the definition established by NB Student Financial Services.

UNB Special Bursary Program

UNB Special Bursaries may be available to full-time undergraduate Canadian/PR students. These bursaries are valued up to $1,000.00.

Student Abroad Bursary Program

Student Abroad Bursaries (non-repayable), valued up to $ 1,500, may be available to full-time students completing an international student abroad program as part of their degree requirement at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton Campus). The award will be contingent on the students’ registration and completion of the student abroad program.

Graduate

Graduate Bursary Program

Graduate students (Masters/PhD) who are registered full-time at UNBF during the academic year may be eligible for a Graduate Bursary valued up to $500.00.

General Bursaries

UNB has other general bursaries available from the Undergraduate Calendar Awards.

CIBC UNB Indspire Bursary

The CIBC UNB Indspire Bursaries will be distributed annually to Indigenous students who are beginning an undergraduate degree program at UNB with demonstrated financial need for contribution up to the costs of tuition in an undergraduate degree program.
