Career Development & Employment Information for Faculty!



  • Student referral – Faculty and Staff can refer students to the Career Centre for, career assessments and exploration, resume and cover letter assistance, job search tips, interview prep, and company networking, by calling 453-4620 or by email at

  • Book Class Presentation – CDEC can present workshops that are tailored for faculties on career and employment topics. If interested, please contact CDEC by phone at 453-4620 or by email at (presentations need to be requested two weeks in advanced and is based on Advisor availability).

  • Career Development Certificate Program - A series of modules hosted on D2L will help guide students as they apply the knowledge and experience gained in their academic studies while exploring their career options.  CDEC is happy to work with faculty who wish to implement the certificate program into their curriculum.  Contact for more information about this interactive, and very useful program.

  • Job Bank – Post student positions.


  • Career Fairs - UNB hosts 3 Career Fairs each year.  The "Fall Career and Educational Options Career Fair" in September, the "Education Career Fair" in January, and the "Summer Jobs and Graduating Students Career Fair" in February.

  • Volunteer Fair      
  • Information Sessions - Review our calendar in Sharepoint to learn which employers are coming to campus, or are presenting information to students remotely via Microsoft Teams (access to our Sharepoint requires UNB username and password).  Share this information with your students and support them as they practice networking with employers.


  • Work-Study – Subsidized part-time on-campus employment program during the academic year.

  • Canada Summer Jobs - CDEC will advertise the dates for applications to the program each year.  For more information contact the Career Development and Employment Centre.
