The Centre for Excellence in Teaching provides a wealth of helpful information. Visit the Accessible Learning link under the Resources tab at CETL for information on how to accommodate, universal design for learning and other relevant topics.

A 'Duty to Accommodate' Course for Faculty is located in D2L Brightspace.  The course provides scenarios, videos, teaching tests with guided feedback and more!  Faculty can auto register under 'Free Course Registration' on your D2L My Home Page.  The course format allows material to be covered in small chunks of time, perfect for the busy, time-crunched faculty member.  It's fully indexed and includes links so that users may move back and forth between content types.  Successful completion of the course (3-4 hours in total) provides a certificate for your teaching dossier.
