My laboratory is involved in the determination of molecular structures of small organic and inorganic molecules employing X-ray crystallographic techniques. The study of electron density distribution allows us to interpret and even predict the chemical behaviour of compounds as well as their material properties. The research areas are broad and range from potential anti-cancer drug candidates to materials for organic cell batteries and hydrogen storage.
