Early arrivals - Applies to Fall Term Only

We are only able to offer early check-ins to students belonging to approved early arrival groups.

Group leaders (coach, faculty, etc.) are responsible for making early arrival requests and acting as the main point of contact for Residence Life, as well as being a resource and contact for their students.

All early arrival requests must be submitted by July 15 and a full list of students requiring early accommodations must be provided no later than Aug. 1

Approved early arrival categories include:

  • early academic requirements
  • varsity athletes
  • campus leadership training
  • new international students

Early arrival fees

Early arrivals fall outside of the residence contract period and therefore are subject to an early arrival fee. These fees will be added to your account unless your group leader has arranged to cover these fees. We do extend a 48 hour grace period, so this fee does not apply to students arriving two days prior to the general move-in day.

It is also important to note that if you wish to access campus dining facilities a dining fee will be charged to your student account until the official opening of residence. If you do not wish to pay this fee, you will be responsible for your own meals.
