Entrepreneurs seeking investment

Venture capital investments enable emerging companies to reach their next level. Whether you're actively raising a round of financing, or jumping into the process for the first time, the Fraser Student Venture Fund (FSVF) is committed to unlocking the potential of New Brunswick's most VC-backable startups from the earliest stage.

The FSVF makes $25,000 investments into companies in exchange for company equity. Deal terms and type of security are subject to negotiation between the company and student analysts. Interested companies are encouraged to enquire about scheduling an investment pitch.

Investment pitch and due diligence format

  1. 15 minute company pitch followed by 45 minute Q&A. (Option to pitch virtually)
  2. Submission of preliminary fundraising materials: investor/pitch deck, business plan, finanical projections.
  3. Active participation in any follow-up meetings or communicaiton throughout the due diligence process is requested of the company in order to properly collect relevant materials and information required to develop an investment recommendation.
  4. Select investment recommendations are presented to our FSVF Investment Committee for final approval, before moving forward with closing the investment.
