KIN Research Day & Career Café

The Faculty of Kinesiology invites you to our annual KIN Research Day and Career Café. 

2019 Schedule and Abstracts

This event is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from within the faculty to share their research in a conference setting, network with professionals in the sport and recreation field, as well as host a keynote speaker.

This year's Research Day focuses around the theme, Leading the Future Through Collaborative Research.  The Faculty of Kinesiology, at the University of New Brunswick is comprised of researchers and students with diverse interests.  This can be seen through the five degree programs offered:

  • Undergraduate: kinesiology; recreation and sport studies;
  • Graduate: exercise and sport science; sport and recreation administration; MBA SRM.

The Faculty is looking forward to the future of Kinesiology and is proud to be hosting this year's Research Day in our new building which reflects our values of health, wellness, sport, recreation and physical fitness.

The event is funded by the Dean's Office and lunch as well as coffee and snacks will be provided to attendees free of charge.  However, the networking portion of the event will have a cash bar for attendees.

  • Date: April 4, 2019
  • Time: 1 pm - 7 pm
  • Keynote:  Dr. David Scott @ 5 pm
  • Venue: Kinesiology Building (90 Mackay Drive - attached to the westside of the Currie Center)
  • Student Presentations:  KIN 215
  • Career Café:  Registration on 3rd floor; with booths on both 1st and 2nd floors
