  • External examiner for 15 doctoral dissertations and two MEd theses as of January 2018.

Professional practice, committees and volunteer work

  • Canadian Association for the Study of Educational Administration (CASEA): Served as 2nd Vice-President (2010 – 2012), 1st Vice-President (2012 – 2013), President (2013 – 2016), and Past President (2016 – 2018).
  • Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM): Served as Vice-President (2013 – 2014) and President (2014 – 2018).
  • Ontario teacher certification since 1983.
  • Reviewer for several journals, grant applications, university programs, and conference proposals.
  • Book review editor for Leadership and Policy in Schools.
