Dr. Mohammad Hendijani Zadeh is an assistant professor of accounting in the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, and he joined in July 2020. Dr. Zadeh earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University (2020). He holds a M.Sc. in the field of Financial Engineering from University of Tehran (2014) and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering major from K. N. Toosi University of Technology (2012).
Dr. Zadeh is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), a certified management accountant (CMA), and a chartered financial analyst (CFA) level 3 candidate. Dr. Zadeh teaches courses in financial accounting and managerial accounting topics.
Dr. Zadeh’s research interests include various topics such as corporate social responsibility, application of data mining for solving accounting and finance issues, audit quality, corporate governance mechanisms, and non-financial disclosures.
A select few of Mohammad’s academic recognitions include New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF) Start-Up Grant, Concordia University Teaching Assistant Excellence Award, and Best Conference Paper Award.
