Jason joined the Financial and Consumer Services Commission (NB) in May 2006. In his current role as Senior Legal Counsel and Special Advisor to the Executive Director.

Jason holds both a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall (LLM, ’18) and a Bachelor of Laws from theUniversité de Moncton (LLB, ‘05), and earned graduate degrees in both International Affairs (’01) and Public Administration (’15) from Sciences Po Paris and the École nationale d'administration of France respectively. He is a graduate of UNB (Saint John) (BA, ’98).

Jason is a frequent lecturer at both the Université de Moncton and UNB. He teaches international business law at the MBA level.

He is active in community affairs, formerly serving as chairperson of the Saint John Free Public Library, and currently serves on the board of directors of CPA New Brunswick and the Université de Moncton Board of Governors. He is a member of the Finance of the Committee of the Greater Saint John YMCA.
