London, England

London 2019.

Participants in the London Travel Study program will spend almost 3 weeks in one of the world’s most exciting capital cities. Two courses - HIST 3154  Themes in the History of London and ENGL 3713 Literary London - will introduce students to London’s historical and literary past, at the same time as we experience the city’s cultural and living present. We will visit the sites that have shaped some key moments in London’s history and continue into its present: the Tower of London, the Globe Theatre, the Churchill War Rooms, and Westminster Abbey. We will explore museums, galleries, and the British Library, and we will attend plays in some of London’s world-class theatres. Students will also have free time to explore the city themselves.
