Guided writing retreat for faculty and graduate students at UNBSJ-SJ

Event Details:

Faculty and graduate students on the Saint John campus are invited to attend a guided writing retreat. The session will occur from 8:45 a.m. until noon and is part of a new, ongoing Friday morning co-writing group which launched at the beginning of the semester.

Dr. Charlene Shannon-McCallum, professor in the faculty of kinesiology at UNB Fredericton, will deliver a presentation in which she will share some of her thoughts and experiences of writing retreats before guiding the group through a structured and scheduled writing session. 

Organised by Heidi MacDonald, dean of arts on the Saint John campus, and head librarian David Ross, the new co-writing group follows on from the success of previous campus writing retreats including last semester’s Fall Reading Week retreat.
