What to do if you are symptomatic
If you are symptomatic, stay home and get tested.
Advise your instructor or supervisor that you are symptomatic and are awaiting test results.
- Symptomatic individuals may pick up a rapid test from an approved pick-up location.
- You may also register with Public Health to get tested. Public Health recommends those who are 50+ should register for a PCR test if you are symptomatic.
What to do if you are COVID positive
If you are COVID positive, stay home until your symptoms improve.
- Follow Public Health’s guidelines on what to do if you test positive.
- Register your positive rapid test result with Public Health.
- When your symptoms improve and you feel well enough to leave home, wear a face mask and physical distance from others as best as possible for 5 days or 10 days if you are immunocompromised. Avoid gatherings or vulnerable settings.
- You are encouraged to follow Public Health’s guidelines for advising your close contacts.
