Returning to campus

UNB takes the health and safety of our community very seriously. We continue to work with New Brunswick Public Health and WorkSafeNB to ensure UNB’s reopening is managed and phased appropriately. Our goal is to protect the health and safety of our community while mitigating the risks of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

The health and safety of the UNB community is our top priority as we prepare to welcome our community back to UNB campuses. Students returning to campus will experience a new environment with a different look and feel on how we gather and use spaces on campus.

COVID-19 student safety orientation

To understand the new safety procedures implemented on campus, all students returning to UNB are required to complete a COVID-19 student safety orientation before returning to campus.

The safety orientation provides important information on New Brunswick Public Health requirements and UNB guidelines to maintaining a safe environment for the UNB community. The COVID-19 student safety orientation explains why the newly implemented safety measures are important and what to expect when you return to campus.

Face mask guidelines

Non-medical face masks are required in most indoor areas at the university. Our guidelines on the use of community face masks explain when and where you must wear a mask.
