Student Services

While all in-person appointments, groups, workshops, drop-in sessions and other events are suspended for the time being since the university is closed, Student Services groups on the UNB Fredericton and Saint John campuses are still supporting urgent student needs as courses move to alternate methods of delivery.

Library

UNB Libraries has shifted operations to online delivery of services and resources. All libraries are closed to in-person access and will be focused on delivering online services to students, instructors and researchers.

UNB Libraries’ Curbside Pickup Service is a contactless, curbside pickup service for on-shelf circulating materials that are not available electronically.

Our curbside pickup service is easy to use:

  • Login to UNB WorldCat, the library catalogue
  • Search for the item(s) you require
  • Select the Request (Fac/Students) button and choose your pickup location:
    • UNB Fredericton: Harriet Irving Library
    • UNB Saint John: Hans W. Klohn Commons

The library staff will contact you with pickup time when your items are ready. Physical distancing protocols will be followed at all times at the two pickup locations. Your items will be bagged and checked out to your library account prior your arrival. Returns can be made to the book drops on each campus. For borrowers outside the Fredericton or Saint John regions, a limited number of requested items will be mailed. If you have any questions about curbside pickup, contact: Fredericton: circhi@unb.ca / Saint John: hwkcommons@unb.ca.
