The safety of the UNB community continues to be our primary concern. In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all inbound and outbound exchange programs until January 1, 2021.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 health crisis, we are unable to meet appropriate planning criteria to assure the safety of students which includes safe travel advisories for destinations, predeparture training for outbound students and lodging for incoming students.
The decision to suspend all inbound and outbound programs was made through consultation with many of our key partner universities abroad and other Canadian universities. We appreciate your understanding in helping to maintain the safety of our community.
All official UNB student international travel continues to be suspended until further notice. Once the travel suspension is lifted, all university-sanctioned travel will require pre-approval by the Assistant Vice President Academic (Partnerships) office.
Thank you for your patience as we work through this unprecedented situation.
With kind regards,
Paul Mazerolle
