Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga

Go at your own pace and tune into your body!

Kundalini Yoga is the mother of all yoga. It includes all aspects of yoga such as pranayama (breathing exercises), mudra, asanas (postures), Swara yoga, bhandus as well as all three types of meditation.

It is taught in kriyas, which target one aspect of our being at a time. It works on balancing the natural biorhythms of the body and moving blocked energy.

The emphasis in kundalini yoga is to create a calming and energizing effect on the mind so that we are able to break up mood states and allow higher awareness.

Each class is composed of:

  • A kriya (which includes a deep relaxation)
  • A short topic
  • A meditation
