Handmade Chocolates for Love

Make this Valentines Day extra special by learning how to bake your own handmade chocolates for loved ones…or yourself!

In this 1-day workshop, create (and sample) six different sweets: handmade dark chocolate; peppermint patties; chocolate bark; filled chocolates; candied citrus peel; and orange cranberry fudge.

With instructor Kristi Williston, enjoy the fun and comradery of cooking as a group in this relaxed class. Kristi will also demonstrate how to make homemade gift bags to wrap your chocolate samples in. Delicious!

No materials are required.

About the instructor

Kristi Williston is a recent graduate from UNB’s Faculty of Education program. She has a wealth of cooking and craft experience, having worked with UNB’s Design Works Art program for the last two years and as vice-president of the UNB Art Centre’s ArtZone student collective, where she helped organize events and activities for fellow student artists. Originally from Miramichi, she is presently working in the education system. Kristi is excited to share her ideas and looking forward to teaching holiday-themed workshops for the Leisure Learning program.
