DIY Spring Tune-Up

Spring into spring by cleaning up, fixing up, and sprucing up your home.

With "DIY Bob" as your guide, you will learn how to tackle those small jobs around the house that you’ve always wanted done. In this course, you’ll learn work and tool safety, painting, drywall, engine/bike/auto maintenance, basic woodworking, and more!


You will be required to supply your own building materials for the window box. Requirements and choices will be discussed in the third class. Tools are available in class.

Dates: Tuesdays, April 21 to May 19, 2020 (5 weeks)
Time: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

About the instructor

Bob Scott has enjoyed a full and rewarding career as an officer in the Armoured Branch of the Canadian Forces. During this time, he moved a total of 13 times, often buying and selling a home. With so many moves, Bob became an expert on how to maintain and repair a home. Plus, since retirement, he has further honed his DIY skills with a never-ending renovation list, as well as woodwork, metalwork, boat repair, and stained glass.
