Breadmaking Basics

There is nothing quite as satisfying as a warm loaf of homemade yeast bread. Join us for a 3-hour workshop in basic bread making skills. You will use one basic recipe to create several different products.

This is a hands-on workshop, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an apron. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with dough to bake at home.

No materials required.

About the instructor

Pamela Hatheway Bio: Pam graduated from UNB in 1995 with a B. Ed. in Home Economics. She has taught at FHS for the last 20 years and Culinary Technology for the last ten as well as running the FHS Student Bakery. She is passionate about all aspects of the science of homemaking, from bread making to creating her own cleaning products.
