Learn basic carpentry skills with DIY expert, Bob Scott, as your guide. Using basics skills, you'll complete a simple project (a beverage carrier/tote box) with every-day hand tools. For more details, download the project plans.

You'll learn first-hand how to make joints using a handsaw and a chisel, how to use planes to fine tune those joints, and how to maintain and sharpen your tools. Armed with these skills, you'll be able to to take on other future carpentry projects of your own!

Material requirements will be explained during the first class (approx. $10). Please bring paper to take notes.
