Stop-Motion Animation (Ages 8-12)

A youth positioning an object for stop motion animation

Unleash your creativity by making your own stop-motion animation videos!

Stop-motion animation is the technique where still objects appear as if they are moving. It's been used in Claymation and puppet-based movies such as Wallace and Gromit, and the Corpse Bride.

So, here's your opportunity to act, produce, direct, shoot and edit your own videos.

Materials for Photography Camps: All campers should bring a digital camera and its manual, a memory card, a USB cord for the camera (comes with your camera), a USB thumb drive (2GB or larger), and extra batteries. Cameras should be charged each evening.
