Intersession & Summer Session

The University of New Brunswick English Language Programme is one of the oldest language schools in Canada. Since 1950, we have helped learners improve their English for work, academic purposes, and personal enrichment. Our intensive "live and learn" methodology creates an energetic, lively, and often life-changing experience.

This year we are offering our methodology in a daytime format. This format will include 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, of in-person classes, workshops, homework, activities, a socio-cultural component that will include virtual evening options, and an in-person weekend activity each week. Using theSUBMARINE^© Mode concept, we will immerse you in classes to increase your language proficiency and offer virtual and in-person socio-cultural activities to give you the chance to apply and reinforce the language you will acquire during the session. You will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the culture and identity of a new location
• Increase your proficiency by exploring the English language
• Discover new ways of communication that will help prepare you for future educational and professional endeavours
• Experience face-to-face and independent learning opportunities
• Meet new people from different places, and take a tour of "their environment"
