This course is only open to students registered in the ABA Certificate program

This course will focus on the research literature pertaining to advancements in behavioural interventions to decrease aberrant behaviour and increase appropriate behaviour. Topics covered include linking assessment to intervention, antecedent interventions, consequence-based interventions, and behaviour change systems.

Prerequisite: Either PSYC 3663 or PSYC 3515. Offered online only. Available only to students enrolled in the certificate program. Students who have received credit for PSYC 3335 and cannot receive credit for PSYC 3545.

Course details

Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.

Assignments and examinations

  • 4 x Quizzes (20 points each)
  • 6 x Course Activities (15 points each)
  • 4 x Reading Guides (10 points each)
  • 1 x Final Assignment (70 points)
  • 1 x Final Exam (invigilated, 300 points)

The exam(s) for this course will be invigilated on an approved date using Respondus e-proctoring software (LockDown Browser and Monitor). This is a free tool provided with this course, a webcam is required. More information will be given once you have been registered.
