Discover strategies for building healthy and effective workplace teams & learn how to train others to become positive leaders

This 2-day workshop is designed to certify you in the Positive Workplace Framework (PWFTM) and give you the skills necessary to train others in Positive Leadership Capacities, a central component of the PWF. You will learn the knowledge, skills, resources, and strategic plans necessary for optimizing leadership practices that enhance healthy and effective team functioning.

PWF is an evidence-based positive psychology approach for promoting and embedding leadership and organizational practices that promote workplace team wellbeing, engagement, and performance.

Upon completion, you will:

  • Be certified as a PWF Trainer in Positive Leadership Practices
  • Gain essential leadership knowledge and skills for promoting employee wellbeing, engagement and team performance
  • Have access to a 12-month subscription to the PWF Positive Leadership Resource Platform containing online and downloadable resources (team-building activities, eBooks and training videos, strategy checklists, assessment resources, presentation resources, multi-year strategic plans) for training others in embedding Positive Leadership Practices in workplace settings (resources available in English, French and Spanish)
  • Learn core competencies in using the Positive Leadership Inventory 360 (PLI) to assess positive leadership capacities and to target strategic plans for optimizing leadership impact for promoting healthy and effective workplace teams.

Who should attend?

This workshop is designed for leaders of human resource professionals, organizational leaders, human resource professionals, workplace consultants, managers and team facilitators to train others.


Bill Morrison is a clinical psychologist with advanced graduate degrees in both educational foundations and psychology. In addition to his 25 years of clinical practice, Dr. Morrison has had extensive experience in the development and implementation of health and education services for children and adults in several Canadian provinces. He was instrumental in the design and implementation of New Brunswick’s ISD framework, and was an initial author of the Province of New Brunswick’s provincial wellness strategy.

Patricia Peterson holds a doctoral degree in Education from Boston University. A tenured faculty member at the University of New Brunswick, she is also Co-Executive Director of the university’s Health and Education Research Group. She is currently the President of the Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick, and has co-authored the Positive Mental Health Toolkit, a series of online eBooks used by schools across Canada for promoting positive teaching and learning environments.
