The cost of conflict in the workplace can be extremely high. A.C.E. training gives participants the skills and knowledge to address conflict effectively in a work setting and all aspects of their lives. The workshop offers a mix of theory, integration and practice as well as an interactive and supportive environment designed to keep participants engaged throughout the training.

This program consists of two parts and each part is 2.5 days.

Who should attend?

This training is designed for anyone who deals with conflict, on a personal or professional level. HR professionals, leaders and/or inspiring leaders, supervisors, managers are also ideal candidates. People who are inspired by the mediation field or who believe in interest-based conflict resolution would highly benefit from this training.

Instructor

Mireille Allain holds a Chartered Mediator Designation through the Alternate Dispute Resolution Canadian Institute. She is also an accredited Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. In addition to a Human Resource Certificate obtained at UNB’s College of Extended Learning, she also acquired a Third Party Neutral Certificate with CICR (Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution). She has also graduated from Royal Roads University with a Master's certificate in Executive Coaching. Highly believing in leadership development, she is certified in Emotional Intelligence profiling. She has a passion for informal conflict resolution and has trained hundreds of individuals in collaborative communication skills.

Mireille has a private consulting company that focuses on conflict resolution called "M.A.Mission". She has also been employed as a civilian member with the RCMP for 24 years. Her experience includes a varied career including Crime Stoppers, Operational Communication Centre (Dispatcher), Human Resources (Recruiting and Staffing of Civilian and Regular Members as well as the Informal Conflict Management Practitioner for NB and PEI).

She currently sits on the board of directors of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Atlantic Institute (ADR Atlantic).
