Do you know how to evaluate credibility when asking for information? Whether dealing with potential new employees, prospective suppliers or current members of staff facing a disciplinary hearing, having advanced interviewing skills could contribute significantly to your organization.

This 2-day seminar will introduce you to techniques in gathering and evaluating interview information previously limited to professional investigators. With the ability to gather and evaluate complete information, achieving your professional mandate will be much improved.

For those tasked with investigating complaints in the workplace, this seminar will provide tips on how to:

  • Set and complete professional interviews
  • Work effectively with third parties present
  • Improve decision-making skills
  • Interview uncooperative witnesses
  • Question techniques for detecting deception
  • Gather and document evidence, and make and defend conclusions

Who should attend?

Mamie Murray is a former Police Officer who has been active in conducting investigations in workplace and professional misconduct matters since her retirement. She is a certified Forensic Polygraph Examiner with training and experience in conducting interviews and evaluating information. Mamie enjoys sharing her knowledge in this field and has been delivering related training to government, corporate and law enforcement groups for many years.
