Krystle Steeves (BScKin'05)

As a physical therapist, Krystle Steeves takes a child and family-centered approach to caring for her patients. Through extensive research and training on the Ponseti Method for clubfoot treatment, she established a clubfoot clinic at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Along with her therapy team, Steeves completes casting and bracing treatments for children. The clinic is one of only two therapist led clinics in Canada and helps to reduce the previously long surgery wait times. Recognized for her contributions and expertise in pediatric rehab, she was invited on three volunteer trips to Ecuador with the Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad (CAMTA) to perform orthopedic surgeries for those in need. Passionate about her career, she has raised $9,000 for CAMTA volunteer trips and has organized an annual picnic in celebration of International Clubfoot Day in Edmonton for affected families.
