Is there a club that you’d like to join that doesn’t already exist? Create your own! The SUB is also where you’ll find our campus radio station (CHSR 97.9FM) and The Brunswickan, Canada’s oldest official student newspaper. Looking to pick up a snack, buy a new sweater or get a haircut? No need to leave campus: you can do it all right here. We know that staying active is important to many UNB students, and our athletic facilities reflect that. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these spaces and get involved, be it at the varsity, club, intramural or recreational level. Whether you’re cheering on the Reds or taking time to get some exercise between your classes, athletics at UNB offers something for everyone.

Sir Howard Douglas Hall

Sir Howard Douglas Hall, also known as the Old Arts Building, is the oldest university building still in use in Canada. Opened in 1827, this used to be where students and professors studied, slept and ate. Today you won’t find any classes here, but if you have a question for the Registrar’s Office or need to pick up an official transcript, this is the place to go. It is also home to both the domestic and international Admissions offices, as well as Student Recruitment and the School of Graduate Studies. You may not need to come in here very often, but everything you send in when applying to UNB goes through this building.
