Summer experiential learning at UNB

Looking for a student to help support your organization during the summer?

We have students in all faculties and disciplines who can bring their talent and skills to your organization. A variety of federal and provincial programs offer wage subsidies to support paid opportunities for student placements!

Catalyst supports New Brunswick communities as they adapt to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Catalyst matches local businesses with some of UNB’s brightest and most talented students for assistance in immediate COVID-19 recovery and long-term strategy development.

Summer Work-Integrated Learning Program

The Summer Work-Integrated Learning Program provides wage subsidy funding to help qualifying organizations hire UNB students for 12-16 week full-time summer placements.

The program helps underrepresented students (students with financial need, international students, Indigenous students, students with disabilities, first-generation learners, LGBTQIA2S+ students, and mature students) find summer employment to help offset the costs of university education and to help employers and students become future-ready.

SWILP is a partnership between UNB’s Office of Experiential Education, UNB Financial Aid, and UNB’s Career Development & Employment Centre.
