Career Development and Employment Centre

The Career Development and Employment Centre located in historic Neville Homestead, helps students find full-time degree-related employment during the academic year, as well as summer jobs and internships. We support students in developing strong skills in career development by providing in-depth resume and cover letter review, interview guidance and on-going employment and career strategy advising. There are approximately 2,000 employment opportunities and over 40 company information sessions held on campus each year. All students are encouraged to contact the Career Development and Employment Centre at the beginning of the academic year to review the many opportunities and to take part in the fall recruitment campaigns as well as our 3 annual Career Fairs and Work-study Program (part-time on-campus employment). Make a one-on-on appointment, or attend one of our many presentations and workshops on campus. CDEC provides services both online (Microsoft Teams) and on campus.
