Based on a recommendation by the Faculty of Education, this award will be given to a graduate student in Education with a focus on counselling studies, physical education studies, or mental health studies. Selection will be based on scholastic attainment with consideration given to extracurricular activities, particularly athletic pursuits or community involvement. Should there be no suitable candidate within the Master of Education or Education PhD program, students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Sports and Recreation pursing the internship option with a focus on volunteerism, wellness, and/or healthy living are eligible.
