The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of Senior Research Technician with the Canadian Rivers Institute, Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Management. This is a term ending March 29, 2024, full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with a salary range of $46,701 - $60,700 per annum.

This Senior Research Technician would be based within the Canadian Rivers Institute (CRI) at UNB Fredericton and working specifically on the Mactaquac Aquatic Ecosystem Study (MAES) - http://canadarivers-gis.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html. MAES is a long-term, whole-river ecosystem study and the Senior Research Technician is the lead for all field studies in the biological and physical sciences, sustaining all field operations and associated data acquisition, entry, and security. The position is a mix of responsibilities for overseeing field operations, data management and reporting, and training staff and students.
